(Jeremiah 1:4 NKJV)  Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
(Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV)  "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
(Jeremiah 1:6 NKJV)  Then said I: "Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth."
(Jeremiah 1:7 NKJV)  But the Lord said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.
(Jeremiah 1:8 NKJV)  Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord.
(Jeremiah 1:9 NKJV)  Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
(Jeremiah 1:10 NKJV)  See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant."
(Jeremiah 1:1-10 NKJV)  Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." Then said I: "Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth." But the Lord said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.  Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord.  Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.  See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant."

Firstly and foremost is that we desire to reflect our Heavenly Father - His character, attributes and His Kingdom.

To Make Christ Known:

By proclaiming His Gospel and establishing that the ultimate purpose in life can only be found in a personal true "covenant-relationship" with Jesus, as our personal Lord, Savior, Master and King of Glory. Establishing in all a life of submission to Him. Being the incarnate Word that we call all men to and the written Word that we proclaim.

Our Statement Of Faith

“Learn to help people with more than just their jobs; help them with their lives.”

On Eagles Wings International Prophetic Ministries believes, portrays and upholds the fundamental principles in Christian doctrine as written in the Bible as follows; -

1) General Biblical Issues:

The Bible;

To be the inspired and only infallible & authoritative Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21

God;

In one God, eternally co-equal and co-existent in three persons; not three god's but one; not one person but three. Revealed to man as The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:26; Mark 12:29; Deuteronomy 6:4; Mathew 28:19

Jesus Christ;

Conceived of the Holy Spirit and born through the Virgin Mary, as true God and true man.

The Holy Spirit;

That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Christ, to convict men of sin, righteousness and judgement and to empower the Believer.

The Lordship Of Christ;

Confessing the Lord Jesus Christ and no other, as the head of the Church and as our Lord.

The Resurrection;

That after dying on the cross and shedding His blood as a sacrifice for our sins, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.

1 Peter 2:24; Acts 2:32-36; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Hebrews 10:12

Creation;

That man was created by God in His image and fell into sin. That every individual has sinned is guilty before God and that man by nature is depraved and incapable of saving his own soul.

Genesis 1:26-31; Genesis 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21; Romans 3:10, 23; Ephesians 2:8-10

Redemption;

That the Lord Jesus Christ, by His life, death, resurrection and ascension, made available to all mankind the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Which is made personally real to the individual, not by works, or by merit in themselves, but by faith alone, which is accompanied by repentance.

John 3:16; Titus 3:4-7; Romans 8:8-13; 2 Timothy 1:9

The New Birth;

In the "New Birth" through the personal work of the Holy Spirit, which makes a repentant sinner a child of God and being baptised by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ.

John 1:11-13; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 3:3-8; 1 Peter 1:22-25

The scriptures teach a life of holiness, and we are to obey the command, "Be ye holy, as I am holy". Believers are sanctified, that is set apart for God's purpose at their conversion. We are to continue in sanctification as a daily walk and to pursue obedience to God's Word through faith and submission to the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:14; 1 Corinthians 11:26; 1 Corinthians 10:16, 17; Acts 27:7

Judgement;

That both the living and the dead will be judged. But that the believers condemnation, was borne by our Lord Jesus Christ in His redemptive work.

John 5:24, 28, 29; Revelation 20:11-15

2) Specific Biblical Issues of Ministry

The Five Fold Gift Ministry;

That Christ gave five very distinct ministries to the Church for their perfection and equipping.

Acts 3:21; Ephesians 2:20

The Present Day Ministry Of The Prophet;

That the ministry of the Prophet still exists in this our present day and is evident in the following areas of ministry in the Church; -

As A Revivalist

The Prophets main purpose has always been and remains today as; -

"One who brings back to life, makes effective and operative again. Also to renew in the mind or memory, to re-fresh and re-awaken. To cause to produce again. To give or to assume new vitality and cause to flourish again. To bring or come back to mind. To re-awaken faith in those present and to bring back to life again after real or apparent spiritual death.”

Amos 3:7

As A Watchman

That our present day Prophets are still God's Watchmen over His house.

Ezekiel 3:17; Ezekiel 33:7; Ezekiel 33:6; Jeremiah 6:17; Jeremiah 31:6; Jeremiah 55:12

As A Seer

That the Prophet today still exhibits various "visions, spiritual insights and foresight" as a main function of his or her prophetic ministry.

1 Samuel 9:9; 2 Chronicles 33:18; 35:18; 2 Samuel 24:11; Amos 7:12

As An Interpreter

That the word teachers means interpreters. Prophets still today as in the Old Testament times interpret the Law of God to His people. Including the interpreting of the history of the nations in the light of God's Word.

 3) Specific Biblical Issues of Dialogue between God and His People

God Communicates His Word To Us In Two Ways;

Through His written Word - the Logos and also through His spoken Word - the Rhema

2 Peter 1:19,21; Matthew 3:17

Three Sources Of Prophecy;

That prophecy can only originate from any one of the below three sources; -

Satan                                                          John 8:44

The Human Spirit                                     Jeremiah 23:16

The Holy Spirit                                          John 16:13-15

Expressed Through Two Ministries;

That Biblical prophecy is mainly expressed through only two ministries; -

The Ministry Of The Prophet                 Ephesians 4:11

The Gift of Prophecy                               1 Corinthians 12:1-11

Function Of The Prophetic Word;

That the work of the prophetic word is given to the believer for his or her; -

Edification                        1 Corinthians 14:3

Exhortation                      1 Corinthians 14:3

Comfort                            1 Corinthians 14:3

Direction                           1 Samuel 10:8; Acts 13:1,2

Conferral                           1 Timothy 4:14

Confirmation                    1 Corinthians 10:1-15

Correction                         2 Timothy 3:16,17

Judgement                       Jonah, Nahum, etc

Application                       1 Timothy 4:14

Combat                             1 Timothy 1:18

And much more.

The Greatest Gift;

That prophecy is the greatest of all the Gifts, but in no manner devaluating the other gifts of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 14:1-5

The Revealer;

That prophecy is the revealer of the heart.

1 Corinthians 14:23-25

Ignoring Prophecy;

That we are commanded in God's Word not to ignore prophecy.

1 Timothy 1:18, 19; 1 Timothy 4:14

Using Prophecy;

That we are required by God to exercise the Gift of Prophecy in our lives and ministry.

1 Corinthians 14:1

All Personal Prophecy Is Conditional;

That all-personal prophecy is conditional to fulfilment.

1 Samuel 13:13-15

Major Difference Between The Prophet & The Gift Of Prophecy;

That there is a huge difference between these two channels of the prophetic ministry and not all Believers are "prophets".
